Julie's first deck The Ancestral Path Tarot, published more than ten years ago by (US Games Systems Inc.) is now "out of print". The Ancestral Path Tarot painted between 1988 and 1990 and is one of the first multi-cultural decks has 78 cards and is based on the RWS model.
Julie Cuccia-Watts is the creator of three multicultural tarot decks: The Ancestral Path Tarot (1996), the Blue Moon Tarot (1998), and the Maat Tarot (2006). Julie is also the sole proprietor of New Moon Trading Co.,http://www.newmoontradingco.com and newer updated site http://www.newmoontradingco.macwebsitebuilder.com/home.html which used to specialize in her eclectic, hand-made art but now seems to be in the business of just selling Julie's tarot cards and related original paintings and posters. Julie has painted well over 250 original oil paintings over the past 20 years specializing in portraits. However her passion has been bringing new life into tarot symbolism. Julie began painting with oils at the tender age of 8 and has been at it pretty much ever since. Julie's interests include all things paranormal and metaphysical which she blends with her interests in history, astrology, mythology and experimental archeology. Remnants of these varied interests can be seen in all of her art even the textiles pieces. Recently Julie has begun to add traveling and teaching tarot to her favorite things to do. Julie and her husband of 22 years, Peter Watts, live in historic Watertown, Wisconsin and were the hosts of W.A.T.T.S. 2007. Julie is also the mother of three grown children.
