For many years Supertarot and my book Tarot and the Magus were the only decent resource for Elemental Dignities. There were one or two other sites, but they were copying what I had already done. At last, things are changing.
A few months ago I suggested separately to Doug Gibb and Catherine Chapman that they write about EDs – I was not expecting a collaboration. So I am pleased to see that they are producing their own Compendium and Dictionary on Elemental Dignities. They have differences in interpretation and reading, which is as it should be. I do not expect clones, and besides, innovation has to come, otherwise things stagnate.
At last students will get the chance to compare and contrast the differing styles of interpreting tarot using EDs, and incorporate them into their own readings.
